VISIT THE MOSQUE
Lancaster Islamic Society offers a structured bespoke Religious Education service that caters for schools and other organisations.
We warmly welcome all visitors from any background who wish to learn about Islam.
Please read through the FAQ section below and use the form at the bottom of the page at least 2 weeks ahead of your intended visit.
WHERE IS THE MOSQUE LOCATED?

The Mosque is located in the heart of the community of the Dallas Road area of Lancaster Our full address:

IS THERE PARKING FOR COACHES AND CARS?
Answer
We have an occasional use drive way in the grounds of the Mosque which isn’t generally opened to the public but our facilitator will assist on the day of the visit.
The maximum size of vehicle that can be accommodated would be a minibus and/or 2-3 standard cars.
We do have public use pay and display carpark adjacent to the Mosque grounds.
A coach would be unsuitable to visit on a waiting basis.
HOW LONG DOES A VISIT LAST?

School visits normally take approximately an hour depending on the number of pupils and the primary purpose of the visit.

WHO HOSTS THE VISIT?

A qualified facilitator will host the visit. All our facilitators are DBS cleared.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
Answer
As the Mosque is a place of worship visitors are humbly requested to dress modestly with a headscarf.
