We are dedicated to delivering an inspiring, well-structured, and comprehensive Islamic education that nurtures both knowledge and character. Our madrassah provides a meaningful journey of Qur’anic learning, spiritual growth, and personal development for young minds.

Our intention is sincere: to support parents in raising children with strong Islamic identity, sound character, and love for Allah and His Messenger ﷺ. All of our teachers are qualified graduates of recognised Dārul ʿUlūms, with appropriate DBS clearance and health & safety training, ensuring a safe and professional learning environment.

Madrasah Noor has been serving Lancaster for over 40+ years with a tried-and-tested approach to nurturing confident young Muslims — grounded in Qur’anic learning, strong character, and love of the Deen. Over the years, we have welcomed hundreds of students, and by the permission of Allah, many Huffāẓ have come through our madrassah. Alhamdulillāh.

The madrassah runs Monday to Friday, 5:00pm – 7:00pm, structured to complement your child’s mainstream education and aligned with the local school holiday timetable.

To cover the day-to-day running of the Madrasah — classrooms, resources and supporting our teachers — we ask for the following once your child is enrolled:

How to pay Bank transfer

Payment is by bank transfer (BACS). Once your child's place is confirmed, we'll send you:

  1. Our bank details for setting up your standing order.
  2. Your child's unique payment reference — please use this every month so we can match your payment correctly.
  3. A Gift Aid form — if you're a UK taxpayer, this adds 25p for every £1 at no extra cost to you.

Staying in touch For existing parents
Parents

We keep in touch with parents directly — by WhatsApp, phone call and the occasional letter home. There's no separate app or portal to log into.

You can ask about your child's attendance or how they're getting on any time — just call or email the Madrasah.
